On September 16th we welcomed several hundred University of the Nations (UofN) staff from around the work for a week of training in preparation for them working in UofN courses. I shared in an interview with several of us about the beginnings of the university 40 years ago.
From Switzerland we flew back to Kona, Hawaii to participate in our school’s debriefing following the students’ two month overseas service. This debriefing week concluded with the students receiving their certificates of completion of this course.
From Italy we drove back to Lausanne, Switzerland where we participated with 500 other people celebrating 50 years of training that began in Switzerland and developed into University of the Nations.

On August 11th Judi and I arrived in Switzerland where we taught a one-week seminar in their training program. Along with positive times in the classroom, we had great times around the meal table talking with different students each lunch time.

Once back in Kona I gave a one-week seminar in our DTS program. After three months of classes in Kona, the school will go in two teams for two months of service overseas to put into practice what they learned in the classroom. One team is going to Europe and the other team to Asia.
