From November 16-21 Judi and I shared with the Ozark, Arkansas DTS program. It was a treat to connect again with friends we had worked with in Kona several years ago. They are now leading this school.

Bilingual Korean/English DTS
From November 3-7 I spoke at a bilingual Korean/English DTS in Colorado Springs, Colorado. When I arrived there I found a French-speaking student whose family I had worked with in Switzerland and France. It was such a treat for me.
50th Reunion of our Africa team
On October 25th we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the teams that crossed the Sahara Desert to French West Africa to discover and open our first West Africa ministry center. I was unable to attend the event in Switzerland, but I connected with them online. It was great to see so many precious friends.
Speaking at Mokuaikaua Church
On September 28th I spoke at our home church. It’s always a joy to speak there, especially after we moved back into the church after six years of a restoration process. We had been meeting outside in our fellowship hall.
Leadership Training School
From mid July to early September Judi and I have worked with our International Leadership School in Kona. We had over 250 students from 50 countries who came for the school. Judi’s Father’s Passing
On June 27th Judi’s father passed away at the age of 100. He was a World War 2 veteran, so he had a funeral with military honors. His Celebration of Life took place on July 11th in Missouri. I had the privilege to honor him at the grave site.
Maui DTS
On June 22nd I flew to Maui to teach in their DTS, preparing their students for their 2-month overseas field assignment, where they will put into practice what they have learned in their classroom segment in Maui.
Family DTS
From June 9-13 I had the opportunity to teach in a Family DTS, preparing them for their two-month overseas assignment that follows their 3-month classroom segment. Judi joined me to also teach a segment of this class.
Speaking at Mokuaikaua Church in Kona
On Sunday May 4th I spoke at Mokuaikaua Church, our home church in Kona. The topic was looking at how both Abraham and Job responded during times of great testing and suffering. Their response was to worship, because they knew and trusted in the character of God.
UofN Course in Maui
From March 24-26 I taught a seminar to prepare the students for their three-month field assignment overseas. The students were a very responsive group, open to all that I could impart to them. They departed in several teams at the end of the week to their field assignments.
