Over 500 students from 35 nations arrived for the January 2019 quarter at University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii. On January 4th we had a Polynesian protocol welcome and new-student orientation in the morning, and a celebration in the evening of the nations from which our students came.

On December 10th Judi and I spent time with a group of students who had just returned from their overseas assignment. We shared and then had a question and answer time with them.

We arrived back in Kona in time to join the week-long 40th anniversary celebration of the founding of University of the Nations in Kona. Once we finally reached California we over-nighted there and celebrated my mother’s 99th birthday before flying home to Kona.

From Kansas City we drove down to Ozark, Arkansas to teach a seminar at the UofN campus there. It was great to connect with the staff and students there. One of the families staffing had staffed with Judi and me in Kona. It was great connecting back with them and their little daughter.
From Perth, Australia I flew straight back to Kansas City to participate with Judi in a one-week conference at Cross Points Church.
