From Switzerland we flew back to Kona, Hawaii to participate in our school’s debriefing following the students’ two month overseas service. This debriefing week concluded with the students receiving their certificates of completion of this course.
From Italy we drove back to Lausanne, Switzerland where we participated with 500 other people celebrating 50 years of training that began in Switzerland and developed into University of the Nations.
From Lyon, we drove back to Switzerland to pick up two life-long friends and then drove to Arco, Italy for a conference involving training leaders for University of the Nations in Europe.

On August 11th Judi and I arrived in Switzerland where we taught a one-week seminar in their training program. Along with positive times in the classroom, we had great times around the meal table talking with different students each lunch time.

After the lecture phase and before the students left for service overseas, I went to Honolulu to teach for a week in a training program offered by Surfing the Nations. Once back in Kona I gave a one-week seminar in our DTS program. After three months of classes in Kona, the school will go in two teams for two months of service overseas to put into practice what they learned in the classroom. One team is going to Europe and the other team to Asia.
At the end of May I flew to France to teach in French for a week in their French DTS. We had a good time in class, but we also had a fun time of fellowship around the breakfast table each morning.
On April 5th we began working with the Asia Pacific/All Generations DTS with 11 students from 9 different nations. During the first part of the quarter Judi and I welcomed our students to our home for a dessert evening to get better acquainted with each other.
