On April 6 we welcomed over 230 new students to the campus. The course that Judi and I lead welcomed 17 students from 9 countries (from Europe, Africa, North and South America, Asia and the Pacific, ranging in age from 17 to 68. The next morning we did a Polynesian cultural welcome for everyone.
From March 8-24 we were involved with staff training for all the schools beginning in the April quarter. This included staff from our school, the All Nations All Generations DTS. At the end of January a team of eight people came for a week from Cross Points Church in Kansas City to install water-resistant laminate flooring in our house. The ladies in the group painted our walls and the men installed the flooring. What a fantastic team of hard workers. We had great times together.
On January 9th I flew to Honolulu for a week to teach in a Korean seminar at a Korean church. Later in the week I taught another Korean seminar at the University of the Nations campus there.
I’m now speaking this week in a second UofN school. It’s a very interactive group, many of whom are preparing to go to Manila, Philippines in the near future.
On Friday November 25th I flew out to Perth, Australia arriving Sunday November 27th. I lost a day crossing over the International Date Line. I spoke a week in one of their UofN courses for experienced workers. Then on Friday December 2nd I ended the week sharing at their weekly public community meeting.
On Sunday November 20th I flew to San Jose, California to speak at a University of the Nations (UofN) school for three days and visit my family for Thanksgiving. My mother also celebrated her 97th birthday that week.
