November 12-13: Paris, France

On Thursday afternoon November 12, Judi and I took the high speed train from the south of France to Paris. That evening we shared in a public meeting at the University of the Nations (UofN) location in that city. The next day, Friday November 13 we spent the morning sharing with the UofN staff. That afternoon we went out to stay at a hotel by the Paris airport. Because of that, we missed the bombings and attacks in the city that evening. We spent four hours at the Paris airport checking in, going through passport control and security. After we boarded our plane, it waited two more hours for passengers still going through security. So, we missed our connecting flight in Washington DC.
